(“Shade”) and affiliated entities, excluding those with distinct privacy terms not inclusive of these guidelines and excludes other services by other companies. Services and products provided by third parties, or sites linked to our services, including Stripe, are not covered by our privacy guidelines.

Our objective is to enhance user experience through gathered information, and this is done in two distinct methods:

• Information service users give to Shade: 

  • Personal Details: Includes identifiable information such as your name, email, contact number, and payment data.

  • Application Usage: Includes data inputted during app usage, like sharing a tattoo photo or making a booking.

  • Support Requests: Information shared during support interactions.

• Information we get from your use of the Shade services: 

  • IP and Log Data: Stored for security, analytical purposes, and monitoring service requests.

  • Device Data: Information related to the device and network accessing our services.

  • Cookies/Identifiers: Collected to optimize user experience and personalize services.

Data Usage:

The amassed data aids in the enhancement, maintenance, and security of Shade’s services and in the development of new offerings. Examples of data utilization include facilitating user-artist interactions, improving service quality, and providing personalized features. We may also update you on service modifications and improvements via email.

Shade Account Data: Your provided name will be used across services requiring a Shade Account, ensuring consistency in representation. 

Data Processing: Personal data is processed on servers in the United States.

Data Sharing: 

Personal data: This is kept confidential but may be shared under specific conditions:

• -Sharing with Artists/Owners: Information may be shared with tattoo artists and shop owners as part of our services.

• -External Processing: Trusted third parties may process data in adherence to our privacy and security standards.

• -Legal Compliance: Data may be disclosed to comply with investigation/legal obligations or to address security/fraud issues.

Non-Identifiable Data: Such information may be shared with partners and the public to depict service usage trends.
